Among other awesome qualities Matcha tea is high in antioxidants, boosts memory and concentration, increases energy levels and endurance, burns calories, detoxifies the body and improves cholesterol. Amazing isn´t it 😉
Avocado lowers cholesterol levels, controls blood pressure, has anti-Inflammatory properties, protect against cancer, cures bad breath…the list goes on and on. Avocado is a superfood, along with kale.
Kale is low in calorie, high in fiber, has zero fat, lots of iron. Filled with powerful antioxidants, great anti-inflammatory food, high in vitamin A, C and high in calcium.
So I made myself a power smoothie 😉 I was like a Duracell bunny all day long and I felt super good and it tasted good too.
half a green apple
1/2 teaspoon matcha powder
1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
1 tsp lemon juice
1-2 kale leaves
little bit of orange juice if you think the tea taste will be too strong, I added half of 1/4 cup
Make one cup of tea with matcha powder, about 350ml all together. Cool the tea down and add it to the other ingredients.
I love my Magic Bullet, so I divided everything into two cups and blended thoroughly.
