Have I told you that I love citrus fruits? – oranges, tangerines, lime and lemons! I just don´t like to peel them 🙂
This is the third recipe from “Key Lime Pie Murder”. So 3 – accomplished!* I sent all these images to Joanne Fluke website and they published my pictures. http://www.girlsacrossthepond.com was my first food blog that I wrote with my Estonian friend! Due to our busy schedules we are taking a break.
Kitty´s orange cake
1 box yellow cake mix, 1 pound
1 package orange Jell-o powder
1 cup orange juice
1 tsp orange extract
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp orange zest
1 cup of semi-sweet mini chocolate morsels (mini chocolate chips)
Add orange jello powder to yellow cake mix, then orange juice, orange extract, vegetable oil and orange zest. Mix all the ingredients together until they are well blended. Add the eggs one at the time. Fold in the morsels by hand.
Maiu notes: When I did it the first time I measured exactly 454g of yellow cake mix but the second time I was too lazy and the cake didn’t turn out to be as good. My suggestion – stick to the recipe. Oh and I didn’t use morsels, I shredded 100 g chocolate bar into the batter.
